The Royal Institute of Architects of Ireland (RIAI)

Founded in 1839 the Royal Institute of the Architects of Ireland (RIAI) is the professional institute for Architects and Architectural Technologists in Ireland. The supports the architectural profession and promotes the value that architecture brings to society for everyone’s benefit.

The RIAI maintains the standards for the profession through registration of the title Architect and through the oversight of the standards of education in universities.

Sandra works with the RIAI Board of Architectural Education, responsible for all matters relating to Education and CPD for architects and architectural technologists, including prescription and notification of qualifications in architecture.
